Advent Windows
From the 1st of December a new Advent Window will be lit up each night in both Lansdown and Ensleigh, inviting us all to walk excitedly and reflectively towards Christmas - find when and where here.
Advent and Christmas Services
We have a service every Sunday in church as well as online, a weekly meditation, and monthly services of Holy Communion and Evensong following the Book of Common Prayer. Our regular serice takes place in St Mary's from 9:00am on Sundays, with a later service taking place at our sister church of St Stephen's, Lansdowne at 10:45am. You'll find details of these and more below and in our calendar.

- 10:45am, All Age Nativity at St Stephen’s, Lansdown - an interactive re-telling of the Christmas story! A must for all the family.
- 4:00pm, Christmas Carols at St, Mary's
- 6:30pm, Candlelit Service of Nine Lessons and Carols at St Stephen’s, Lansdown - mulled wine and mince pies are served after this service.
Christmas Eve, Sunday 24th September
- 9:00am, Morning Prayer (said service) at St, Mary's
- 10:45am, Holy Communion using the Book of Common Prayer (said service) in the church foyer at St Stephen’s, Lansdown
- 5:00pm, Christingle at St Stephen’s, Lansdown - the perennial family favourite celebrating our Lord’s love for the world
- 11:30pm, Midnight Holy Communion at both St Mary’s and St Stephen’s, Lansdown - both churches pause for reflection and contemplation on the eve of Christmas
Christmas Day, Monday 25th December
- 10:00am, Family Christmas Celebrations at both St Mary’s and St Stephen’s, Lansdown - a time for all the family to share in the excitement and joy of this special day!
