Following Candalmas on 1st February (celebrating the presentation of Jesus at the temple by his parents, Joseph and Mary) we are now in ‘ordinary times’ for a short period before Lent, which this year begins on 18th February, Ash Wednesday. Lent lasts for 40 days, until Easter.
During Lent, on Saturday 14th March, there will be a most interesting recital of medieval chants. Further details and how to book your place are shown here.
Looking further ahead, the Summer BBQ will be on Saturday 13th June. Further information will follow in due course, but please make a note in your diary now!
